Lucy Reed KC featured on The Bristol Cable podcast discussing the openness of family courts.

Following a 2-year Reporting Pilot Scheme, journalists and legal bloggers (lawyers who are attending as observers rather than legal representatives) can now report on cases in any family court in England and Wales following the introduction of a new Practice Direction in January.

Lucy chairs the Transparency Project, a charity that pushes for greater openness around the workings of the family court. The Project has been supporting these changes to happen for some time and discusses with The Bristol Cable why they matter.
