Covid-19 Policy

At St Johns Chambers, we are returning to normality but keeping some sensible measures in place to protect and respect individual safety.

There are disinfectant wipes, antibacterial spray, antibacterial hand gel, tissues, gloves and face masks available to anyone that needs them.

We ask that you avoid coming into Chambers if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms and follow the guidance below.

1. There is no longer a legal requirement for people with coronavirus (COVID-19) infection to self-isolate, however the public health advice is to stay at home and avoid contact with other people.
2. If you experience a high temperature, a new, continuous cough or a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste, book a PCR test as soon as possible.
3. Many people will no longer be infectious to others after 5 days. You may choose to take an LFD (Lateral Flow Device) test from 5 days after your symptoms started (or the day your test was taken if you did not have symptoms) followed by another LFD test the next day. If both these test results are negative, and you do not have a high temperature, the risk that you are still infectious is much lower and you can safely return to your normal routine.
4. If your test is positive on day 5, you can carry on doing LFD tests every day until you get 2 negative test results in a row.
