Who Should Attend?
This webinar is useful for all family law practitioners.
St John’s Family & Divorce team are hosting their family forum webinar this July, with child law experts Susan Hunter and Asha Groves providing a practical look at current issues. The two important topics they will cover are handing over the phone for interrogation, and children with gender dysphoria and the law.
Topics include:
- Handing over the phone for interrogation. Is resistance futile?”
This is an area of frequent dispute. Most adults carry personal and confidential data on their smart phones and often mistrust promises of privacy by professionals and judges. Susan Hunter will look at the extent to which parties can be directed to comply and how they might resist. - Children with gender dysphoria and the law
We are all seeing a rise in the number of cases in both public and private law involving children with gender dysphoria. Asha Groves will look at the wider topic following the recent Cass Review and then go on to take a practical look at the sort of issues that might arise in these cases and the applicable law relating to changes of name.
