We are pleased to announce that Zoë Saunders has been appointed as Head of our Family & Divorce practice group. Zoë takes over from Judi Evans. Judi had held the role for 9 years and remains a very active member of our family law team. We also have two new heads of teams, Ryan Morgan who will be heading up the Family: Children’s team and Jack Harris who will be in charge of our Family: Divorce & Financial Remedy team.
Zoë Saunders has over 20 years’ experience in family law, representing clients in large and complex finance and divorce cases. She regularly deals with high-net-worth clients involving company shareholdings, business valuations, family trusts, complex pensions and international assets. Zoe has a wealth of experience dealing with cohabitation disputes (involving ToLATA and Applications under Schedule 1 of the Children Act) and private law children disputes (involving cross-border issues, intractable contact disputes and parental alienation). Zoë is ranked in Chambers UK and The Legal 500 as a leading barrister and is described as a very dedicated barrister who is always keen for a challenge. Read more here.
Jack Harris is a specialist barrister in divorce and financial remedy work. Jack is frequently instructed in complex, high-net-worth cases involving company assets, farms, trusts, pensions, pre/post nuptial agreements, foreign and inherited wealth, and cases involving disputes about matrimonial / non-matrimonial property and intervenor issues, as well as cases involving more modest means. Jack is ranked in both Chambers UK and The Legal 500 and recognised for his excellent client-care skills, the depth, breadth and clarity of his advice, and his eloquent and robust advocacy. Ryan Morgan is a specialist barrister in public and private law children matters. Ryan is frequently instructed by local authorities, parents and children in complex proceedings, including cases involving non-accidental injury, fabricated illness, sexual assaults and child death. Ryan is ranked in both Chambers UK and The Legal 500 and is described by clients as a very skilled advocate, who always pays attention to detail and is very thorough in his case preparation.
