The Family Law Awards 2024 has announced the nominees for this year’s awards, and we are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted in three categories:
- Regional Family Law Chambers of the Year
- Family Law Clerking Team of the Year
- Family Law Young Barrister of the Year – Vivien Croly
Our strong family law team, headed by Zoë Saunders, with 2 silks and 30 juniors were voted ‘Regional Family Law Chambers of the Year’ at the Family Law Awards 2023 and we’re thrilled to have been nominated again. We continue to attract high-quality work in financial remedy and public & private children law proceedings and are ranked Band 1 in Chambers Guide to the Bar UK and Tier 1 in the Legal 500 UK Bar.
Our clerking team which is headed up by Practice Manager Luke Hodgson and includes Elaine Jewell-Moore, Marcus Harding and Abigail Hooper are consistently praised for their high standard of client service in Chambers UK and The Legal 500. This nomination demonstrates their commitment to providing a first-class service to St John’s Chambers’ clients and in-depth knowledge of their barristers and the marketplace.
Vivien Croly joined Chambers as a tenant in October 2022 following the successful completion of her specialist family pupillage. Vivien is praised by clients for being highly professional, thorough, and having a superb attention to detail. She represented the respondent husband in the reported decision of JD v RMD [2023] EWFC 125.
The winners will be chosen by a judging panel made up of several leading figures from the legal profession, and beyond.
