The Bristol Legal Walk, a 10km sponsored walk around Bristol and the city sights to raise money for free legal advice charities in Bristol and around the South West, will take place on Thursday, 16th May.

St John’s Chambers will be sponsoring this event alongside Guildhall Chambers and Irwin Mitchell Solicitors, organised by the South West Legal Support Trust, who support organisations that:

  • Prevent families being made homeless
  • Prevent destitution
  • Help older people gain the support to which they are entitled
  • Help women and children who have been trafficked for domestic servitude or prostitution.

St John’s Chambers team of walkers (Natasha Dzameh, Lizzie Champion, Richard Gold, Dianne Martin, Zoë Saunders, Sophie Smith-Holland, Iain Large, Harriet Dudbridge and Asha Groves) will be joined by others from the judiciary, law firms, chambers, government departments, in-house legal teams – their friends, family at 5.30 pm at the Bristol County Court. There will be a post-walk celebration upon their arrival at the end venue.

The South West Legal Support Network will be running a photography challenge and encourage you to enter by tweeting your photographs from the event @SouthWestLST using the hashtag #legalwalk.
