St John’s Chambers recently visited Kings Oak Academy students to talk to them about life at the bar as part of Chambers’ outreach programme, and today we were joined by 12 of the students from the Academy with their teachers, who wanted to find out even more!

The students had the opportunity to meet HHJ Horton at Bristol Crown Court where the Judge provided them with an introduction on how the court works.

The students then joined several of our barristers for lunch in Chambers including Head of Pupillage – Ben Handy, Natasha Dzameh, Annie Sampson and Rachel Segal as well as Executive Assistant, Isabelle Mills and Personal Injury & Clinical Negligence Practice Manager, Annette Bushell. They also got the opportunity to meet our new pupils.
