Head of Family & Divorce, Zoë Saunders is heading off to Malta to speak at the International Family Law Symposium as part of The Commonwealth Law Conference 2025 on Saturday, 5th April.

Representing the Family Law Bar Association, Zoë will be speaking on asset recovery, enforcement and sanctions. She will be joined by several other speakers who will look at what steps can be taken (or not) in State B to enforce agreements or orders from State A: asset recovery, tracing, enforcement and the impact of sanctions. The speakers will cover practical tips, timescales, costs and bear-traps.

Set against the spectacular backdrop of the Mediterranean sea, the Hilton Hotel and Conference Centre will play host to legal practitioners from all over the Commonwealth to debate issues of resonance in the profession, to network and share best practice and innovations with colleagues and experts in the field, whilst providing a wide range of social opportunities and tours for those with an appetite to explore this wonderful island.

Join the Commonwealth Lawyers Association for this prestigious five day programme covering five streams on human rights, rule of law, corporate and commercial, the judiciary,  and issues of contemporary appeal. A range of satellite events will take place in the wings of the conference,  including a bespoke Young Lawyers programme and a Bar Leaders’ Summit.
