As part of his commercial practice, Charles has advised and represented enterprises in respect of prospective and ongoing proceedings in the County Court and High Court on a wide range of matters with a commercial element.   • B2B claim concerning alleged oral variation to commercial services agreement in the context of various prohibitory clauses.
  • Claim brought under rr. 27A-F of the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008.
  • Claim concerning an alleged unfair relationship under sections 140A – 140C of the Consumer Credit Act 1974.
  • Application for liability order for unpaid national non-domestic rates in respect of large commercial premises comprising multiple business occupiers.
  • High-value construction contract dispute concerning implication of commercial terms, exclusion clauses and breach.
