Charles was brilliant and really presented our side very concisely and knowledgeably.”
The costs of civil litigation is a part of Charles’ practice which compliments his other areas of work, as well as being a freestanding area of interest.
Charles is sought after to advise and represent clients at all stages of litigation in connection with costs matters. He is the author of ‘A Practical Guide to Non-party Costs Orders’ (2021, Law Brief Publishing) and takes a particular interest in costs and case management conferences, the court’s wasted costs jurisdiction and hearings arising under CPR 46.2(1)(b).
Charles has prepared a one-hour seminar on allocation, assignment and fixed recoverable costs which is aimed at all solicitors working in court-based civil litigation. Please see full details here. If you would like to arrange for Charles to come and present this seminar to your firm, please get in touch with Paul Nuttall here.
