- Professional Negligence

Charles was brilliant and really presented our side very concisely and knowledgeably”
Charles accepts instructions in professional negligence matters where they relate to his primary areas of expertise, including real estate litigation, agricultural and rural affairs, and costs law.
He has experience in high-value claims against solicitors and other professionals and takes a particular interest in claims where the alleged negligence has impacted property transactions, litigation conduct, or costs exposure.
Charles’ experience in his other areas of practice means he is well placed to navigate professional negligence disputes through all stages, including pre-action advice, settlement negotiations, and contested hearings. He is adept at evaluating causation and loss in the context of property and costs disputes and brings a pragmatic approach to resolving such claims. His experience in costs law also allows him to provide insight where allegations involve failures in the course of proceedings that have led to adverse costs consequences.
