Who Should Attend?
Hosted at St John’s Chambers in Bristol, author Dr Tracey Ryan-Morgan will provide an introduction and summary about the Mental Capacity Casebook with specialist Court of Protection barrister and contributor to the book, Alex Troup, delivering a talk on ‘assessing testamentary capacity’; Richard Stead, also a contributor to the book, will deliver a talk on ‘capacity’ in the context of capacity to conduct proceedings.
About the Book
- This is the first clinical casebook of real case assessments that have arisen in the context of the Mental Capacity Act (2005).
- This book uniquely combines detailed clinical assessment cases with a legal commentary by contributors (Simon Morgan, Abigail Bond, Alex Troup, Richard Stead of St John’s Chambers, Katherine Barnes of 39 Essex St Chambers, and Paul Sankey and Andrew Hannam of Enable Law) that is specific to the individual case being presented.
- The casebook has broad appeal to professionals from a variety of backgrounds including clinical, forensic, legal as well as health and social work.
To celebrate this book launch, fizz and canapés will be served following the seminar where you can also take advantage of the 20% off book offer.
