On Wednesday, 13th September, Christopher Sharp KC and Ben Handy were invited to speak at the Brain Injury Group’s Annual Child Brain Injury Conference to an audience including industry-leading claimant and defendant catastrophic injury lawyers, Court of Protection lawyers, insurers, charity workers, case managers and other health and social care professionals.
Christopher and Ben spoke about ‘Pitfalls and achieving best results in child brain injury claims’ through the prism of the recent authority of C v Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust [2023] EWHC 1770 (KB), appearing alongside some other very interesting speakers including experts in speech and language therapy, paediatric neuropsychology, and special educational needs coordination.
A copy of the notes that accompanied their slides can be found here.
