Who Should Attend?
This seminar is aimed at solicitors and will writers who regularly deal with vulnerable people who wish to make wills.
Christopher Jones of St John’s Chambers, and Roman Kubiak of Hugh James will facilitate a practical and informative workshop on wills for vulnerable testators. Identifying and mitigating risk are key aspects of the legal professional’s tool kit. But how does that work in practice, and what should we do when it all goes wrong?
Topics include:
- Drafting wills for the elderly or vulnerable
- Bringing and defending claims for negligent drafting
- Correcting mistakes
The seminar will begin with delegates divided into groups each to consider one of the three topics above, followed by an open discussion on the questions posed.
Drinks and canapés will be served after the seminar, with the opportunity to network with fellow professionals.
